Those sound pretty cool Rosemarie. Do you have a web site for your films?

I am a filmmaker in NYC. My work centers around women in science, and my programs air on PBS. I have completed two-hour long films. The first is on the life and times of Lise Meitner who, along with Otto Hahn, discovered nuclear fission in 1938 in Nazi Germany. He went on to win the Nobel Prize for the discovery, but because Lise was in exile, no one understood her role in the discovery and Hahn never told anyone. My second film is on the life of Irene Joliot-Curie, the eldest daughter of Marie and Pierre Curie. She and her husband, Frederic Joliot-Curie won a Nobel for their discovery of artificial radio activity. My two other films are about ready for post production. One is on Ada Byron Lovelace, the mathematician who is credited with being the first software developer, and who worked with Charles Babbage. The last is on the life of Dr. Frances Kelsey who stopped the drug thalidomide from comining into the US.
I am planning more films on women in science.
