I went on my first trip to Haiti in March in 2005- a life changing experience. After returning Helene Friedberg had the vision to found Haiti's Hope with the primary goal to first provide relief to the poorest of the poor(orphans and widows), but also to be an organization of people who care about Haiti becoming a more self sustaining country working with our brothers and sisters who struggle with the basic necessities of life from day to day.
