The second amendment was written so the common man/civilian could defend itself from an oppressive government.

It was not written for hunters it was not written for militias. It was written so if we the people had to we could defend ourselves against an out of control government. I believe that day may be coming. The constitution is the supreme law of the land, people need to deal with it. If you don't like it leave
