I agree. I have to give presentations on a consistent basis. I don't use a teleprompter. AND... I can not stand Buck Ofama.

Why the anger? Because this is ridiculous. Idiocy on this level is no better than the people who voted based on gender or race. Who gives a flying fuck if he uses a teleprompter? Is that honestly how you decide if you like someone?

I didn't say that the presentation wasn't just as important, I said that it's probably quite a bit more nerve wracking to get up in front of the ENTIRE WORLD than it is to get up in front of your city.

The way you present yourself to 5000 folks is equally important as the way you present to 5 million.

Yeah, he's got a little bit of a bigger audience. I don't blame him for using a teleprompter one bit. And you still haven't answered my other questions. During the debates he had NO teleprompter.
The way you are isn't the way everyone is in front of a crowd. The way you do "local politics" isn't the way they're necessarily done on the national scale.

Alison, I am in local politics and I don't use no teleprompter. I prepare my thoughts and generally know them cold. I don't use a crutch most of the time. I have no problem with elected officials reading notes or an entire speech off "hard-copy" Let us see them being human, like you and I. The teleprompter is a word feeding device. You don't even have to have been briefed or be familiar with the material in order to spit it out. It is false and a fake.
