Description:The R3/\/\1X\/\/0RX blog began in November 2006 and is a collaborative space for the remixing of digital art, photography, animation, music, e-poetry, visual poetry, texts, etc. The site has grown to number over 400 individual works of media, with many more strewn about in comment areas. Where possible each new piece is remixed, literally or conceptually, from others on the site and linked to the appropriate page(s), but new work is welcome too because R3/\/\1X\/\/0RX needs to be fed. Source material is made available and all media is freely given to be remixed. Thus, the project has no single author - R3/\/\1X\/\/0RX is a flexible community, an adaptable entity that can be shown in a variety of ways. On the web it can be viewed as an online journal of digital art and writing. It has been featured in online festivals, presented during artist’s talks and at conferences, performed and remixed live as part of VJ events, and elements from it have been developed into a standalone flash movie Devil's Rope Journal. There is also a R3/\/\1X\/\/0RX Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/remixworx . Most of the R3/\/\1X\/\/0RX authors are listed here on the sidebar but only those on Facebook. We would like to acknowledge Ted Warnell, one of the original contributors who doesn't seem to be on Facebook.

Yes, thank you for stopping by here Fabio but like Christine I don't speak Italian. I did translate the forum threads using Google but the video interview is in Italian and you have to be a member to "see the full interview with comments." I came across an interesting statement in an essay posted to the forum: "hypertext is born well before the creation of the world wide web" - which is true, but it was the web that brought hyperlinks to life. As mark Amerika said in Grammatron [ http://www.grammatron.com ]:"I link, therefore I am."

As for "this space" - we try not to analyze at all, it crimps our style and creativive natures.

Thanks Fabio, your forum looks interesting too, but unfortunately I'm a monoglot.

Hi everybody,

I'm Fabio and I'm a Phd student of eLiterature in Italy. This space is interesting, dealing with some topics I'm analyzing in my research.

Actually, I've just finished tu issue an interview to an Italian hypertextual fiction writer, named Filippo Rosso. If you are interested, you can find it at this url:

See you.
