| Description: | I started No Dowry as a way to record the journey of planning a wedding without selling my soul or my firstborn in the process. Now that the wedding has passed, I'm going to continue to blog about being a (gasp) modern-day Navy wife, a feminist, a nomad and a lover of all things crafty. Not necessarily in that order. |

Now that it's getting close, though, I'm kinda sad to give it up on some level. I don't feel like I'm being a bad feminist by giving up my last name-- isn't feminism all about being able to make choices for ourselves? And, although I get the meaning behind it, I HATE when "women" is spelled "womyn" or "wimmin." Spelling and grammar are important, people!
Kellie, when is your wedding? And are you ever coming back to California?
