I have been natural for about 2 1/2 yrs. now, I'll admit it's a struggle styling my natural hair, but I refuse to go back to the creamy crack that has thinned my hair over the years and I find anyway you wear your hair is work :)

Natural hair rules...but I'm still learning to deal with it!

Turned 40, hormones kicked in and I'd had it with hair, blowdrying, curling, perming and evenutally I stopped coloring my hair. When my gray hair really kicked in I took my hair down to a brush cut. It doesn't look as nice with the gray when I let grow out to where it's curly. If I wasn't so tenderheaded I'd just let grow like crazy! LOL!

just flat ironed my hair today to do a micro-mini trim. i have a few knots and split ends. i've gained control over those pesky things but had a few left over. i think i fall more in love with my hair every day. i love the versatlity and how amazingly strong and thick it is without the creamy crack.

Natural hair rules!

I hate it that I even relaxed my hair..I love my freedom of no worries no creamy crack no shedding or breakage!! Healthy lovely hair!!

I'm obviously "white" lol but I have TWO daughters and two sons with my AFRICAN husband and I spent two years in Liberia where I watched tooo many beautiful African goddesses spend their fOOD money on processing their hair!!! Please get the word out sisters!!! I LOVE your curls!!!

I swear nothing turns me on more than some natural curly hair. That look right there just says "I am real and please dont touch my natural curly hair". I just want to put my fingers all thru it get it caught up in there and pull back knowing it is not going anywhere! It really does bring out the freak in me. I even grew some on my chin just so ladies could play with it. So just like Charlie Brown's friend Frieda give me some natural curly hair.
