| Description: | This blog is about my 'new' 911. I started it so that when the car is in the shop, awaiting repairs, I'll remember that I expected it to happen. The car is a 1979 911 SC. It has a 3.0 L flat six motor, air / oil cooled, with a hemi head. It is a 29 year old car which has had regular paint and body maintenance. It looks nice, but is no concours winner. The performance is moderate, compared to modern sports cars. And still, when I see it my heart sings. |
