I have been in that situation and I kinda have a problem with not having relationships with people I have always known and who have had my back for more half my life just because they are male. So, to answer your question I would hope that I would be in a relationship with a man who was secure enough to trust that my relationships are real and that I don't want to date my male friends. So, yes I would. I tried being in relationships that I got rid of my male friends at one point and I always felt like I was giving up a real part of me that was important because of someones insecurities. I think is ok to have relationships with the opposite sex as long as you are open and honest and you have boundaries. Long winded answer.

I think they can, I have many male freinds and no drama.
