| Description: | Luna & We is a blog about our baby girl, Luna, who has a series of rare heart formations; including dextrocardia, double-inlet right ventricle, and pulmonary Artesia. At just 15 months old she has undergone two open heart surgeries, 2 cardiac catheters with angioplasty, and countless echocardiograms, EKGs, and blood work. BUT, despite all this, Luna is a happy and healthy baby girl. Her biggest challenge right now is trying to negotiate the fastest way from one end of the room to the next, and perhaps more importantly, keeping close guard on her toys so her sister Sienna won't snatch them. Other characters in this blog include, a mean cat, a bunny no one really pays any attention to, The Architect, and the narrator, Mama who is also a business owner, publicist, aspiring or struggling (depending upon assignment) writer, photographer, and wine gulper. |
