The Looking Spoon isn't trying to be another conservative "news" blog out there to compete with all the others. There is an assumption that anyone who comes here is fairly up to speed with whats generally going on in the world right now...as a result not a lot of foundation is laid for the subject matter addressed, which usually allows posts to get right to the point. The goal is to be entertaining with a dash of informative. Starting November 2009 I'm also going to try something new with the blog posts in that there will be "easter eggs" of sorts. If you mouse over something and it becomes a hand then CLICK ON IT!!! It'll show you something that would normally go unnoticed. Other times a simple rollover or rollout will suffice. |
