I would be surprised if Rush sued anyone. The legal hurdles for a public figure are so high, and any damage claim would open up his entire life to the discovery process in a lawsuit. He's getting a chance to get even now by exposing the fabrications and exposing the mainstream media and left-wing bloggers for the frauds that they are.

When will Rush file a civil action against these people for defamtion?

These supposed statements appear to have been published to cause damage to his reputation and good name at least insofar as an ownership stake in the Rams is concerned. Moreover, even though Rush is a public figure and this concerns a public issue, a case could be made that these statements were made with malice in mind. A reasonably prudent journalist, even one as incompetent as CNN's Rick Sanchez, does have a duty to fact check his work to a level more than a basic google search.

Zelaya has descended into the realm of the maniacal.

Perhaps a future talking head on MSNBC?

Also loved the haggard and uncomfortable look of Susan Rice on the news tonight. No doubt reeling from being caught flatfooted. No worries though, another sternly worded resolution will be forthcoming which will be legally binding on N.K..

Hi William,

Very disturbing blog on Bolton via Kilkenney and what has come to fruition. What bothers me the most is that Bolton was analyzing Korea and foreign policy when Ms.Kilkenney was pissing her bed on Friday night and watching cartoons on Saturday morning. A lesson too all bloggers; any idiot can write an article, good journalists research and report a nonobjective conclusion. An irony lost on Kilkenney!

Bolton called it spot on and to be honest has stuck to his guns as to the "Norks" (has Kilkenney come to some moral resolution on the use of the term?). I know that this will fall on deaf ears to the Huffpoers, but you have been had by another 20-something charlatan, who feels free to blame the bulk of the world problems on propaganda from Fox News and a wacky Bolton. You can keep her, I'll stick with the grumpy and crusty old guy, who really does know what he is talking about. In a macabre sort of way, congrats John Bolton on your knowledge and and foresight!

Re: Pelosi Accuses CIA of Lying

So, she says that she didn't protest to the administration in 2003 because it wouldn't have changed their minds, and instead she decided her duty and responsibility was to change the administration and take back Congress so that she could change things.

So, why didn't anything about waterboarding and torture of prisoners at Guantanamo come up during the 2004 election cycle? Why didn't she say to John Kerry, "Hey, the CIA says they're torturing prisoners at Gitmo; better make sure you bring that up on the stump"?

Re: Dems Lack ...

The problem with replacing Speaker Pelosi is that you either need to convince her district to vote for someone else, convince her party to select someone else, or win back the majority in the House. All three are practically Herculean tasks in this particular day and age.
As long as Speaker Pelosi has the support of President Obama, I doubt we'll see a revolution in the House leadership. My preferred method, of course, is for the GOP to take back the House. Whatever happens, it will take a long time.
As for hearings involving Speaker Pelosi, I doubt we'll ever really have them. The public "outrage" over waterboarding won't even last 'til the end of the year. If it's even mentioned in the mid-terms, it will be by extremely far-left third parties who will try to oust Pelosi and the others because they didn't push hard enough for full-blown hearings.

Hi William, just joined your FB site, but usually keep up with your blog via Hotair. Really liked the article regarding waterboarding.

Should everything you posit come to fruition, it will be more than a bit enjoyable watching Pelosi and company eat their own. It sure looks like the self preservation manuvering has begun.

It is stunning and ironic that Pelosi now has to rely on Harman to run political cover for her while Hoyer will not let her out of the spotlight.

Should these hearings happen, it definately will have me glued to C-Span and that hasn't happened since the Clinton impeachment.

Hey, thanks for the support.
