Can you say “no?” Can you set boundaries and ask for what you need? Do you speak up in meetings? Do you let people yell at you? When you are served a cold meal in a restaurant, do you return it or eat the cold food you are paying for? Are your clients treating you like an employee or a collaborative business partner?

If you want to make money and gain respect, you can not be a walk-all-over doormat or a pushy jerk. You must become an assertiveness communicator, which is powerful and free of worry and judgment.

Hi Blog Followers. I just wanted to update you on my blog http://www.julialilly.com. I just changed the theme to something called Magazine. It is VERY simple. The old one was just a mess. I couldn't find anything on there and I built it. I have a few new post you may be interested in so go take a look when you get some time. I typically post the same information to my facebook page too. I wonder how I can combine those? Any thoughts?

I just wanted to update everyone on my new website. Looks like for the most part it is done. Now I did go with a clean design, nothing over the top. I think I really found an even ground for touching on my root skills while at the same time, gently exploiting my new ones. :) I know I still have a lot to learn on the Social Media side, but I keep learning and that is what is important. Based on the many many articles and seminars that I have touch on, the world of Social Media is in it's infancy stage. So, I am excited the be involved in it at this stage. I will be an expert soon lets hope. For now Specialist is a good start. Anyway, I am exicted to share the site , so please take a look when you can. http://www.360Admin.com.

Out with the old and in with the new!

I really like the title of this particular blog post for several reasons. One reason is because it is the New Year and two because of my website dilemma.

I have hit a road block in completing my website in the area of content and what to keep from my old site. I have gained so much knowledge in the area of Social Media and Buzz Marketing that I want to write about it in big flashing letters, but at the same time I have so many valuable basic ecommerce and administrative skills that helped me get where I am today as a Virtual Assistant. It seems wrong to abandon that part of my content (and life for that matter) for the more glamorous side of my online image.

Then, to add to the confusion, I have had many emails from people who want to help get some serious “flashiness” going on my site. This is great, fun stuff, but abandons who I am at the basic level of my .... http://www.julialilly.com for rest of article.

I am wrapping up the old year with big plans for the new year. As most of you know I have opened my own company as a virtual assistant called 360 Admin. I started this company because I wanted to have control over my future and because I was bored with traditional sales and marketing departments. Once I got online and started working as an Administrative Virtual Assistant an entire new world of Social Media opened up to me. It is something I am very passionate about now and I am online everyday trying to learn more about it. So, now I am not not just an Administrative Virtual Assistant, but a Social Media Specialist. I plan to continue learning as much as possible about the industry and use this knowledge to help my clients gain significant recognition for their brand online. It is going to be an exciting and adventursome new year. My wish for you for the new year is that you find your passion and follow it with all your heart. Happy New Year.
