OK, I have 2 kids. The oldest only brought cheese and jelly sandwiches for 2 and a half years- that was after the Peanut Butter and Butter sandwiches (which lasted 4 days until Mommy got totally disgusted!) My big deal with the kids is that they actually eat something! I now send my kids with tortilla roll-ups, meat and cheese with a healthy snack (pretzels, raisins, etc.) Although the 11 yr. old is now requesting chips- but he's old enough for me to give in a little.

i don't have any kidsyet but 12 babies have come into my life over the last few years. all under 7 & if i could avoid any arguments or loaded questions, i am all sights & ears. i am still traumatized when my now older niece, while watching old jackson 5 cartoons says to me "i didn't know michael jackson was black, why isn't he anymore". ummmm.

Ice cream can be for breakfast if you melt it and pour it over corn flakes :P

Unfortunately while Caren & I subscribe to this with Gavin, my mother usurps us and occasionally gives him Ice Cream for Breakfast...Grandmothers...

I actually found myself telling Rafael one morning, 'ice cream is not for breakfast' and I busted out laughing.
