I love the music! Took a survey over the phone about my favorite radio station, I didn't think twice I said KPLU!

Loved KJAZ in San Francisco and when I moved to Seattle didn't know if I could switch to KPLU, no problem overall. Have it on almost all the time when home and not listening to vinyl or CDs. Great DJs.

My fantasy Big Band already exists -- it's Rob McConnel's Tentet, and I challenge anyone to find a band that is so technically skilled, so tight, so hot, and so brilliant. Did anyone hear the Tenet CD, the cut called Two Bass hit? it is phenomenal, and I say this even though I might be a little biased about the tenor players.

Female vocalist is Sarah Vaughan. I hope I don't need to explain why. Male vocalist is Frank Sinatra. Again, no explanations necessary. Band Leader is Thad Jones. Anyone who can take over the Basie band in its sad state of affairs in the seventies and make it swing again gets my vote. Plus, he can write his ass off, and sub for Miles when he doesn't show up for the gig. My group is ready for a battle of the bands whenever you're ready.
