| Description: | This is my attempt to live my life with authenticity and integrity. This is a personal blog. The views, links and opinions found on this blog do not (and should not be assumed to) reflect the views of anyone, anything nor any institution that I find myself in relationship with. This is simply a glance into the story of where my humanity meets the divine. So I give you permission to read, to interact, to disagree, to be challenged, to be mad, to be encouraged, to laugh, to cry and to join me on my journey of life. |

I read some of your posts, and I can certainly sympathize with the things you've gone through. As you well know, I've never fit the mold of the "typical" pastor, nor have I ever been a very "churchy" person.
I stay in Church for the same reasons you have said you returned, because that's where the action is, that's where the healing can be, and despite its many problems, Church is still the vehicle for the presence of Christ in our communities.
I have been very blessed to find one that allows me to be me, and it has given me a new hope that if we can find our way through the "weeds" then other churches can too!
