Description:Frozen Royalty is published by Gann Matsuda, a native of the Los Angeles area who grew up playing roller hockey in the local schoolyard and has been following the Los Angeles Kings since 1973, when he was still a little kid. Matsuda has been writing about the Kings since 1986, and has served as News Editor for kingshockey.com since 1995, or thereabouts. He is also the lead writer covering the Kings for hockeytalk.biz and for bleacherreport.com. In February 2009, Matsuda became a member of the Professional Hockey Writers Association.

Just finished an hour-long telephone interview with LA Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi. Good thing: Got a load of material, probably enough for 3-4 stories. Bad things: It's going to take FOREVER to transcribe and the audio has a constant, annoying buzz throughout, so I'm probably not going to release the audio.
