My father was a news junkie. He always read the paper and would record one news show on the VCR while he watched another one on the teevee. He didn't talk a lot, but he was a master punster and he was always there. I miss him. Thank you.

I like your blog. Your snippets and comments remind me of my dad. Funny, my dad reads a lot (newspapers, non-fiction, political everything), and while my dad can speak soliloquys of opinion, he writes 2-3 lines to me. Usually he dictates, and my mom writes the letters to congressman, senators, etc. I'm going to introduce him to your blog.
