How about the prejudice that comes when you have a child with ADHD or anything that causes them to be more difficult to deal with? Two out of three of my children have experienced this kind of prejudice from teachers, other parents, etc... they just don't get treated the same because they're challenging. It makes me sick when my people assume my kids are bad, when in reality they are dealing with behavioral delays or some kind of mental illness. Sometimes I just want to tell all of them to fuck off. Where is the compassion?
