Dearest Frankie - my heart is hurting for you, your Mom and your grandma.

Your Papa was obviously a wonderful man and he will be missed. When I first started to get to know your Mom via Facebook, I loved looking at pictures of you with your grandparents. Papa was always there at every special event, looking so very proud of you. I could always see the love that he had for you shining in his eyes.

Even though he is in heaven now, I firmly believe that he is staying close so that he can watch over you and your Mom.

I also know that he lives on in the two of you. You two are very special and I know that some of his best qualities were pased on and are part of what make you the wonderful boy that you are.

I am thinking of you and sending you hugs from Canada.

Hello from your Canadian friend! I have not been near the computer in close to a month so I just took some time to catch up on what has been happening in your life.

Guess what? Green beans are my favorite vegetable and turkey is my favorite meat so I would have REALLY enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner if I had been with you!

Did you know that, in Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving the second Monday in October, not at the end of November?
