eater.com linked to Food Writer’s Diary today with this cryptic message: "Le Cirque Auction Planned Long Before 'Economic Hurricane' [Thorn]"
So blog traffic is robust today. I find that when the people at Eater paraphrase Food Writer's Diary, people don't bother to click through, which makes sense. But cryptic messages like the one posted today are very effective.

Wendy’s has pulled ahead in my poll of favorite Big 3 burger chains: It has 12 votes. McDonald’s has 11, Burger King has five, and one participant claims never to have eaten at any of those chains.
