Description:'Chasing Away Salt Water' is the title of my memoir. It's a mulch of memories, where I am turning the sod and slowly digging away and creating vignettes - some small, others large. I will write about Cystic Fibrosis. I will write about death. I will write about life. I will write about brutal treatments. I will write about fond memories. I will write about my childhood. I will write about sex. I will write about ghosts. I will write about the kindness of humans. I will write about faecal matter. I will write the truth.

Thanks Tara, or should I say Mrs. Wightwick? Massive congratulations on your wedding, my sweet! I've scoured the photo albums and of course, you are the most ridiculously good looking bride in the world :) You look very beautiful and very happy, which makes me do my little 'yay!' dance. Much love to you and James, love Carls xoxo

Almost 20,000 words in. Due to my committments with 'Jet's Lore', I will not have the time to have a first draft completed by the end of the year, but I've mapped it out and know exactly where it's going. Thank you for continuing to read.

Still chipping away and hoping for a first draft by the year's end ...

Greetings blog supporters,

After a four day break up the coast, I'm 8000 words in on the memoir and will be throwing up (figuratively speaking) a few posts this weekend. I'm hoping to have 10,000 words by Sunday evening, so keep your eyes peeled.
