If you click the "Contact" button at the very bottom of this page, you can email the creators of the NetworkedBlogs application directly. They can fix the author thing manually on their end. (I contacted them this afternoon with a similar request and they got back to me within a few hours.)

How could i not join this group, even though I'm asking myself how I'm gonna find time? I don't drive; I walk, ride BART or a bike, and even though I put solar panels that I'm still trying to pay for on my roof, I've got no plans to buy an electric car, even if I could afford one. But, I'm no expert on the car-free life. I do remember that a writer, whose name I can't remember, said that there's more fossil fuel burned in all the mining, manufacturing, and transportation processes required to produce a car than any car will burn in its working lifetime. Greensumption reinforced that memory, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft5SSIfmeKU .

I just wrote about another page till I got a "too long" message, so I suppose I'm supposed to go post this to this blog, but I saved it instead because it looked to me, at first glance, like the blog is devoted to car-free living solutions, and I'm no expert on that, though I can at least join the group, in support, since Sue invited me.

Arlene, all this technology stuff really baffles me. Consider yourself and honorary author.

It turns out that "Help Confirm the Author" leads to adding yourself as the author. This isn't the thing I wanted to learn on Facebook tonight after two glasses of wine!
