How could i not join this group, even though I'm asking myself how I'm gonna find time? I don't drive; I walk, ride BART or a bike, and even though I put solar panels that I'm still trying to pay for on my roof, I've got no plans to buy an electric car, even if I could afford one. But, I'm no expert on the car-free life. I do remember that a writer, whose name I can't remember, said that there's more fossil fuel burned in all the mining, manufacturing, and transportation processes required to produce a car than any car will burn in its working lifetime. It turns out that "Help Confirm the Author" leads to adding yourself as the author. This isn't the thing I wanted to learn on Facebook tonight after two glasses of wine!
