I am a Realtor outside the metropolitan area of Sacramento, Calif. We were hit incredibly hard by the housing crisis with most properties suffering around 40% loss in values. Inventories have finally started to drop a little but we are still not seeing the buyers coming back.

I enjoy seeing comments from a lot of you who are having success and look forward to a productive year here as well.

Best wishes

Hello from Fayetteville NC. We were recently named one of the top housing markets in the nation and are doing well here. Mostly it is due to Ft. Bragg and the military. We remain fairly insulated from the market crisis and our economy is more stable then most. We had a 6.9% appreciation in home values last year
