Just a quick post till i can muster some enthusiasm.
Same old Same old, at Cortonwood. But 3 species have been added to my November list, over the last 2 days ;
Lesser Black-backed Gull, Lapwing & Meadow Pipit. Taking this months total to 59.

A cloudless blue sky made for a very pleasant visit to cortonwood, which was further enhanced by a smart drk Shoveler, that dropped in on the lake. This species first made it`s appearance on the patch, last year, when during the winter...

2 species were added to the December list, from the garden, this morning : 1 Wren ( singing) & 1 Stock Dove. The best of the rest were, singles of : Cormorant SW, Goosander SW & a Grey Wagtail on the house...

Started the new month off with 11 species from the garden, but none of em are worthy of a mention.
Then it was on to Cortonwood, where i added another 26 species, which included 2 that i didn`t manage to see...
