Christmas Eve

Dec 24, 2009
I’ll be missing one tradition today as I have for the past 3 Christmas Eves.  My dad was not a particularly sentimental guy but we had one tradition between just us.  Every year, no matter where we were, I would call him before bed if I wasn’t with...

What is wrong with me?

Dec 22, 2009
I haven’t had a single Christmas cookie this year.  Not one.  This isn’t bragging about my self control - this is bemoaning my serious lack of sugar cookies! I was sick for the cookie swap with my Mom’s Club - I figured no one wanted my plague...

Things that happened when I wasn't blogging

Dec 21, 2009
I took Sabrina to see a movie in the theater for the first time.  We saw The Princess and the Frog yesterday.  She did great - she sat still up until the last 10 minutes or so - although I think she was as excited about the popcorn as she was about...

Nothing says Christmas like traffic

Dec 19, 2009
I’m still not feeling 100% but I’m feeling some better and I’m sick of sitting on the couch.  We had a Christmas filled day.  We ran a few Christmas errands and then went to the Opryland Hotel to check out the decorations.  I’ve never been to the...

Blog schmog

Dec 14, 2009
Sorry ya’ll.  I’ve been sick.  Lying on the couch, hacking up a lung, napping for hours while my sainted (and also sick) hubby watches the kids, feeling miserable and listless, producing copious amounts of snot, not able to do much of anything...

superb
I really don't have anything to compare your blog to. I don't read any other. I only read yours because I miss your dad so very much. I see your dad in Tessa. BUT, I would be hard pressed to read anything more well expressed. You have a great talent for writing, wonder where you got that from. I know that you and I don't know each other that well, but I feel as we were old friends by reading about your life. I sure wish you well and the beautiful family that you and Steve have created. excellent
I've been reading this blog for almost 2 years now. I enjoy Michelle's perspective on most topics - not just motherhood. As a Southerner, I'm entertained by her "Yankee" observations of life in the South since she relocated last Spring. Love this blog!
