Dealing with Adversity and Coming Out with a Better Attitude. A.K.A. I Shook the Shanks

May 26, 2009
I got the shanks about five years ago. It was strange and very disturbing that I couldn’t simply make and adjustment and get rid of them. Never happened before. I went to the range for...

The Byron Preview, Part 3 - The Location

May 21, 2009
For most major golf tournaments, the period immediately after the tournament is spent de-briefing, discussing what worked and what didn’t work, and then laying pretty low for several months...

Gatorade Tiger lacks in the flavor department

Aug 21, 2008
It is around 100 degrees here. When it gets that hot I can’t just drink water on the course. If I only drink water I end up with what the Greeks call “evil eye.” Evil eye is a mind splitting headache centered in my right eyeball.

Frogger Amphibian Ball Towel

Nov 30, 1999
I’ve been pals with Frogger Golf for several years now. When Frogger releases a product you can be sure there will be nothing better on the market. Back in May of 2007 I reviewed the hands-down best golf brush on our planet and many others, the...

Looks like a white Christmas is a lock

Dec 22, 2009
There’s a reason why golf nuts around here like me golf as much as they can when there’s no snow on the ground.  It is called snow. Yesterday I managed to play 11 holes.  These were the only holes open since the rest had snow. Today it has been...

Today I played golf. This is not too common for December 21st in this area.

Dec 21, 2009
The snow has melted enough for my home course to open holes 2-11.  Today, though it was 33 degrees, I played golf.  I had on a shirt, sweater, sweatshirt, lined windbreaker hoodie, levis, fleece hat, lined rain pants and two pairs of gloves. With my...

Dec 21, 2009
People Magazine and some other “sources” are reporting that Tiger Woods’ yacht “Privacy” has left port from North Palm Beach and is headed for the Bahamas after being loaded with supplies from Costco. Hello?  Did anyone read my post back on...

Now here is one of the many golf sites that has over done it on content on the front page. Way too much information to digest and that is before you go inside the site to look around. There is some real good content in this site, but most people will click off this monster before they see it. The site is need of a Major design overhaul. Look forward to seeing what Tony does with the site in the future.
