Oct 3, 2008

Intentional non-productivity is a productivity tool

Almost 95% of Jews do something to observe Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. I want my kids to be part of this when they grow up, so the only way to do that is to model it for them now.

Vulnerability is the key to likability at work (and on the farm)

Aug 26, 2008
This is the last thing I should be writing on my blog. Because it's now clear that the blog is a great dating tool. Propositions all the time. So I should not tell you this, but here it is: It turns out that I'm a lousy girlfriend. Not the bad in bed...

It looks like a lot of people are coming here from the article in the San Francisco Chronicle: Big City Blues, Could a more affordable life, away from the Bay Area, actually be better, by Rob Baedeker. Here are some of my most popular posts about...

There's no magic pill for being lost.

Dec 4, 2009
When I was in the mental ward, it was mostly girls in their teens with messed up track records and eating disorders. But my roommate was from Kellogg, a top-ten business school. I thought it was insane that she was there. She was so smart. She was...

excellent
Really needs a better review than the editors have given. While she may lose points on the frequency of updates criteria, she is always dead on with her career advice. This is information consultants charge for and she's giving it away. Even if the site was written on the back of a paper bag it would be worth your time.
