I’m trying to test comment integration for my Blog Box application. Comments for this post should be displayed both in feed and at post page. Friends, please leave any comment to this!

I’ve added support of Facebook Pages to Blog Box. Since today you can add blogs both to your profile and pages you manage.

I’ve added Blog Box to its own page. Now all updates related to the application will be published to separate blog. This blog will become my personal space.

It’s a great day, everyone! I’ve implemented a possibility to import posts from almost any blog outside of Facebook. Check out Import tab for details. There are still many features that should be implemented, but this one was one of the hardest to even start to do it.

Import functionality is in beta now so if you notice any errors or some strange behavior – feel free to contact me (using comments or email)

I’ve noticed that some profiles was not updated well. This issue was fixed today. Please check out your profile to make sure that everything is fine.

Today I’ve implemented a possibility to mark posts with tags. This allow your readers to easily find related posts and browse your posts by subjects.

A list of 20 most used tags is displayed at the right side of your blog. If you don’t want to display tag list you can turn this feature off at your Settings page.

I’ve finally implemented video embedding for both posts and comments. When writing new posts and comments you’ll see Insert Video link for that. For detailed tutorial please visit this page

Now I need to think about how to make Blog Box available for Facebook Pages. At least to move such announces from my profile to the official page

Today I’ve added a possibility to embed videos from top video sources to your blog. It’s not well-tested yet and not described anywhere in user interface, but it works:

UPD Facebook prohibits to use iframes at profile pages so Blog Box simply displays links to videos at post page.

Today "Blog Box":http://apps.facebook.com/blog-box became more secure. I've added some code that sanitizes unwanted HTML from post and comment contents. All outbound links from comments now have rel="nofollow" attribute and no JavaScript or CSS can be posted.

I’ve added Atom feeds today. Now your friends and visitors can read your blogs using their favorite feed reader such as Google Reader, Bloglines, or NewsGator
